The Answer Lady's household has always valued healthy eating, been vegetarian and cooked from scratch. It came as a nasty surprise to discover that her very active husband, Jack had a cholesterol problem. Research and conversations with Jack's physician revealed that even vegetarians can get a surplus of saturated fat in their diets.
